They say you should date a girl who writes.

No one will ever tell you that writers are the hardest to love.
Writers house the most broken of hearts.
It is with that brokenness that they are inspired to write.
Writers build the tallest walls around them; they are afraid of letting people in.
Writers love a good challenge.
They may not have above average intelligences, but they are smart and witty.
You will find it hard to hold an argumentative conversation with them because they are just that stubborn.
Ironically enough, writers will find it difficult to express their emotions to you.
They struggle to find the perfect words to describe their emotions
Because they constantly crave perfection.
It will be difficult to keep up with a writer
Because loving a writer takes patience and understanding.
Writers demand an intelligence from you that you will find difficult to measure up to.
Writers demand eloquence from you, because eloquence is all they have.
Writers are hard to love,
But their love is the most worth it.
Because they teach you that the best things in life come free.

I remember being enthralled with the written word ever since my parents started reading fairytales to me at a young age. Seeing the power it has to influence behaviours and mindsets, I have learned, over the years, to translate my thoughts onto paper, in an attempt to positively disrupt the lives of others. Having my written works published in various forms of media has empowered me to weave stories that people can resonate with. I look forward to the life-long process of perfecting this craft, and hope to see my work touch the hearts of many in the future. This blog attempts to do just that - and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy penning it down.
